Spirits with stories
Every pour carries a story centuries in the making.
Long before tequila had a name, the peoples of Mexico held the agave sacred - the gift of Mayahuel, the agave goddess - tended by hand and turned into spirit through traditions older than the bottle it now fills.
We pour only Mexican spirits, and we tell you where each one comes from: its agave, its region, and the maestros who, generation after generation, keep the craft alive in the Sierra Madre. That's the difference between a drink and a story.

Do I need to book a tasting in advance?+
Not for a walk-in: come by any time we're open for a tasting flight at the bar, from $30 USD, no booking needed. Our expert-led tastings are different: they run on set days with 8 seats each, so book those online to be sure of a spot.
Where do the tastings take place?+
Inside our liquor store, surrounded by the bottles, for up to 8 people, so when you fall for something you can take it home on the spot. Bigger groups move into the bar, up to 80. Or we come to you: villa, yacht or event, anywhere in and around Puerto Vallarta.
Where are you, and what are your hours?+
Panamá 134, 5 de Diciembre, Puerto Vallarta - close to Centro. We're open Wednesday to Sunday, 5pm to 1am, and closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
Can I buy bottles to take home?+
Absolutely. We're a licensed liquor store with a selection of artisanal Mexican spirits, including bottles you won't find elsewhere. (Beers and wines are served in the bar.)
What's the difference between mezcal, tequila and raicilla?+
They're all agave spirits with their own regions, methods and rules. The best way to understand them is to taste them side by side with our mezcalier - that's exactly what our tastings are for.
Can you host a private group?+
Yes - private tastings for up to 8 happen inside our liquor store, and for bigger groups we move into the bar, where we can host almost any size. Get in touch and we'll set it up.
