Our tastings, bar and store serve alcohol. You must be 18 or older to book a tasting, take part in one, buy spirits or be served at the bar. We may ask for photo ID and refuse service without it. Please drink responsibly.

• Guided tastings are booked and paid online through Peek, our booking partner. Your booking is confirmed when you receive Peek's confirmation email.
• Prices are in US dollars and include the tasting as described on its page. Gratuities for your guide are not included; if you enjoyed it, 15 to 20% is customary.
• Each guided tasting seats up to 8 guests. For more people, use the private events form and we will quote.
• Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the start time. Once a tasting has started we cannot always fit in late guests; contact us as soon as you know you are running late.
• Tastings run rain or shine. Our tasting room is indoors and air conditioned.

• Cancel at least 24 hours before the start time and we refund you in full, no questions asked.
• Cancellations inside 24 hours of the start time, and no-shows, are non-refundable. We can instead turn your booking into a gift certificate with no expiry date, even one hour before the tasting: just message us.
• If we have to cancel (illness, an emergency, too few guests), we offer another date or a full refund, your choice.
• Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Peek, and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.

Flights on the bar menu need no booking and are paid at the bar in Mexican pesos or by card. Menu prices can change without notice; the price on the menu that day is the one that applies.

• Private tastings, venue hire and events at your villa, yacht or venue are quoted individually. The written quote states the price, what is included, the deposit, the payment dates and the cancellation terms for that event, and it becomes the agreement once you accept it.
• Guest numbers, dates and locations can be adjusted up to the time stated in your quote; later changes may carry a cost.
• Travel outside central Puerto Vallarta may carry a travel fee, shown in the quote.

The overnight trip to the town of Tequila is run with our partner Vallarta Food Tours. A $200 USD deposit per person holds your spot; the balance, the payment date and the cancellation terms for the trip are confirmed in writing when you book, because hotel and transport bookings are made in your name.

Gift certificates are sold through Peek and do not expire. They can be used for any guided tasting of the same or lower value, or as part payment of a higher one. They are not exchangeable for cash.

We can refuse service, end a tasting early or ask a guest to leave, without refund, if they are intoxicated, abusive or putting others at risk. Please tell us about allergies or dietary needs when you book so we can plan for them; we work with artisanal products that may contain allergens.

We take care of your experience and your safety on our premises. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid us for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Mexican law.

The text, photos and logos on this site belong to El Tasting Room or are used with permission; please do not reuse them without asking. Prices and schedules on the site are kept current but a tasting is sold at the price shown by Peek when you book. Guest reviews shown on the site are real Google reviews, quoted as written.

If you tick the box on one of our forms, El Tasting Room may text you about your enquiry and booking: replies, quotes, confirmations and reminders. We never send marketing or promotional text messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help; you can also write to info@eltastingroom.mx. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Ticking the box is optional and is not a condition of booking or buying anything.

These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico and the State of Jalisco. If something goes wrong, write to us first; we would much rather fix it than argue about it. Consumers in Mexico can also turn to PROFECO.

We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you the current version. The terms in force when you booked apply to that booking.
